PROXIMITY, BABE by Kevin M. Hibshman

Simple restraint shining.
A warmth that penetrates my skin.
Relaxed conversation.
Easy speech yet so much flavor in your choice of words.
Heady yet tasteful like a fine wine I long to drink in.
When my thoughts begin to stabilize, I look back upon our life,
unhurried, breathing contentment in slow, welcome breaths.
It was always good to have you near.
I need to feel those comforting moments hovering over me once again.
